Finding a name
This summer, Mark and I started the itch to get our boat officially named and registered.
Naming a boat, more so a boat we built over many years of dedication, is not trivial, this name will be her identity. We need to feel attached to her name and we want her name to be unforgettable. We wanted her to be feminine as in English, boats are “she’s” and small peculiarity, the name would be best staring by the letter M.
Who do we want her to be? She needs a strong personality but she likes to have fun and is particularly friendly and loving. She will bring us good and will protect us. She will carry us through our upcoming adventures, collecting many stories to be told… she will have endless stories and she will share them endlessly.
She is a bit of me and she is a bit of Mark.

Mimi – My Grand-mother
Honoring the the special relationship I have with my grandmother became increasingly important to me as I am slowly loosing her. In a way, it is comforting to feel she will always be with me.
Jane – Marks mother
With a Jane on board, our ship will never lack lively energy or kindness.
