Yesterday we did not touch a paint brush… no painting, no blasting…. not even a thought of it. Yeah… really!
Yesterday we got to stand back, look at her and say “We made it”, the hull is finally all painted (well… almost, there is always an almost, but for the cause we will say it’s done).
The work is far from over but this long stretch of painting and sandblasting, trying to beat time and weather to keep the succession of coats layered within specifications is done. We still need to move the keel and hull stands to finish those areas. The aft cabin-top and the rudder still need to be sandblasted and painted but the marathon to clean and protect the hull over.
